Who runs this site
Hi, I’m Rodney O’Rourke. I started StopUCC to help small business owners who are stuck with merchant cash advance (MCA) debt, UCC liens, and lenders who will not stop calling.
I have worked in commercial finance since 2014. I am the President of Velocity Business, LLC in Carrollton, Georgia. Over the years I have sat with hundreds of business owners, read their loan papers, and helped them find a way out. I have seen what MCA funders do the day a business misses a payment. I built this site so you can see it coming.
I am not a lawyer and I am not a CPA. StopUCC is not a law firm. When your case needs a lawyer, I will say so, and I can point you to one.
What StopUCC does
- Free guides. Every guide here is free. They explain UCC liens, confessions of judgment, personal guarantees, bank account freezes, and what happens after an MCA default, in plain words.
- Free case review. Send your situation through the contact page. I will tell you what I see and what your options are. No charge, no pressure.
- Debt negotiation. If you want help settling with a funder, I work with negotiation partners who only get paid from the money they save you. If they do not save you money, they do not get paid.
- Asset protection. I help owners set up banking and business structures the right way, before a crisis, so a freeze does not shut the doors.
How this site makes money
I want to be clear about this. StopUCC earns money two ways. First, when you choose to work with one of our negotiation partners, the partner pays us a referral fee out of their fee. Second, some links on this site, like the banking banner at the top of the page, are referral links. If you sign up, we may earn a fee. It never costs you more, and it never changes what I tell you.
